Welcome to the website of Julie Scott, MBACP, qualified Counsellor practising in Camberley within easy walking distance of train & bus stations and car parks.
I offer counselling for both teenagers and adults on an individual basis.
People come to counselling to help them through periods of distress or difficulty. They find relief and help in talking to someone who is sympathetic, but not directly involved in their situation, and who can listen and reflect on what is happening. People come to counselling for help and support with a range of problems which can include;
• feeling anxious or depressed;
• feeling in need of understanding or support;
• wanting to relate more easily to other people;
• lacking in self confidence;
• facing a personal crisis such as bereavement or marriage break up;
• undergoing major changes in life such as redundancy or retirement.
Seeking help is not a sign of weakness or failure, it is simply recognition that sometimes life gets too much; counselling can be the first positive step towards addressing the situation.
Conveniently situated in Camberley Town Centre in the quiet and private environment of the Ian Goodchild Centre, Knoll Road, Camberley (opposite the Library). The centre also offers excellent wheelchair access.
